What Is the RHA® Collection?
RHA® stands for “resilient hyaluronic acid,” referencing the molecule that makes the fillers ideal for addressing age-related volume loss.
Healthy volume gives the face youthful contours and smoothness, with collagen providing structure and hyaluronic acid providing moisture and hydration. Aging skin loses both collagen and hyaluronic acid over time, however, so creases and hollows develop in areas that once appeared full and unlined.
The RHA® Collection addresses this loss by replacing the vanished volume. The hyaluronic acid molecules are linked to create a robust gel that not only fills in space beneath the surface of the skin, but also withstands the frequent muscle contractions that can quickly break other fillers down. There are three options in the RHA® Collection, with each specific filler featuring a different “weight” determined by how the hyaluronic acid molecules are cross-linked.

RHA® 2 is intended for plumping up lips and smoothing perioral lines, while RHA® 3 addresses moderate facial lines and RHA® 4 reduces more severe facial creases, like deep nasolabial folds. RHA® 2
The Skin Klinic & Day Spa team uses this filler for subtle results and delicate adjustments. It can give the lips a beautiful boost, as well as smooth out perioral lines, which are thin wrinkles that radiate from the mouth.
RHA® 3
To address mild to moderate smile lines—also known as nasolabial folds or “parentheses” lines—Skin Klinic & Day Spa’s injectors use a “fuller” filler. The thicker consistency works well to resist breakdown in this highly active region. It also smooths out corner lines next to the mouth.
RHA® 4
The “thickest” in this family of fillers is intended for moderate to severe facial lines, such as deep nasolabial folds. Injections can make the creases less noticeable.
Results from all three dermal fillers can last up to 15 months. As the gel breaks down, lines and flatter contours will begin to appear again. New RHA® Collection treatments can help to maintain the more youthful-looking results.
